The controllable atmosphere protection device is constituted by a rigid sealing box and a flexible capsule-type sealing cover; and the rigid sealing box is provided with an inflating opening and an exhaust opening, and valves are arranged on the inflating opening and the exhaust opening correspondingly. According to the controllable atmosphere protection device, in the air pumping process, air in a cavity is pumped out along with the exhaust opening, the flexible capsule-type sealing cover gradually gets close to the inner wall and the cavity bottom of the rigid sealing box under the negative pressure action and finally attaches to the inner wall and the cavity bottom of the rigid sealing box closely, and thus all the air in the cavity is fully exhausted; then a valve in an air pumping opening is closed, the valve in the inflating opening is opened and filled with required protection gas, in the process of filling the protection gas, the flexible capsule-type sealing cover rises and is swelled in a following mode, and thus a required protection atmosphere state is formed in the cavity; the thickness of the flexible capsule-type sealing cover is 0.1mm-100mm; and the thickness of the rigid sealing box is 0.5mm-2m.
