一种基于红外图像的伽马校正的图像增强方法

本发明属于图像增强技术,涉及对红外图像增强方法中伽马校正方法的改进。其增强方法步骤如下:假设读取第k帧图像的所有像素数据,先统计该帧图像的灰度直方图,根据直方图求出所有像素的灰度加权平均值( av ),然后根据图像中图像灰度采样范围[a,b]结合灰度加权平均值综合确定伽马校正曲线,最后用该曲线对第k帧图像进行伽马校正增强。本发明方法中灰度采样范围的动态计算最大限度的利用了图像场景和灰度分布的信息。校正曲线的动态修正使得该方法即适用于特定目标场景的图像增强,又适用于不同场景的实时自适应图像增强。

The invention belongs to an image enhancing technology and relates to improvement on a gamma correction method in an infrared image enhancing method. The infrared image enhancing method comprises the following steps that it is assumed that all pixel data of the k<th> frame of image are read, a gray level histogram of the k<th> frame of image is counted firstly, and a gray level weighted average value (av) of all pixels is obtained according to the histogram; then, according to the image gray level sampling range [a, b] in the image and by combining the gray level weighted average value, a gamma correction curve is determined comprehensively; and finally, the k<th> frame of image is subjected to gamma correction enhancing through the gamma correction curve. In the infrared image enhancing method, dynamic calculation of the gray level sampling range utilizes information of an image scene and gray level distribution to the maximum extent; and through dynamic correction of the correction curve, the infrared image enhancing method can be suitable for image enhancing of a specific target scene and also suitable for real-time adaptive image enhancing of different scenes.
